ARUBA'S CANVAS SPECIALIST

4D Photo Bar built our reputation printing Canvas. The top photographers and artists on island choose 4D Photo Bar for their photograph & fine art prints. Interior decor requires special printing equipment. Our printers use 12 color archival inks that offer the most detail, widest range of color, and are 100% safe for indoor use - even in a baby room. Sign shops use printers which contain unsafe fumes and solvents, and are optimized for outdoor durability and viewing from far away; with between four to six colors. This results in reduced detail and color gamut.


Protective Clear Spray Coating as Standard

Keeping your prints looking as good as the day they were first printed is our priority. Prints fade, even indoors, from the UV in Aruba's sunlight. As an extra step we apply a clear, safe water based coating that resists scratches, moisture, and UV light contaminants.


As a result, our standard canvas prints take a little longer to produce than our other products. Expect between 3 to 7 days.

EDGE FINISH

  • Image Reflected Over Edges - the original image is mirrored over the edges.
  • Image Soft Reflected - Image is mirrored and blurred over the edges.
  • Image Stretched Over Edges - The original image is extended over the edges.
  • Image Softened and Stretched - The extended part of the image is blurred.
  • Border Color of Your Choice - from White, Black or specify a color #.


QUALITY PINE STRETCHER BARS FROM 1 - 1, 1/2 INCH

  • The Canvas is stretch wrapped by hand and raised off the mounting bars. Stretcher bar mounting remains invisible from view, unlike rectangular wooden frames which show through the front of the canvas.
  • Ethically sourced kiln dried pine stretcher bars are used to mount your canvas; unlike normal frames our stretcher bars resist bending over time. The best option for Aruba's climate.
  • Cross braces are included as standard for all panorama and larger size prints to prevent the frame from deforming over time.
  • Wooden Keys are left accessible to maintain the tension of the canvas for a "drum" smooth surface for the life of the print.


HANGING OPTIONS

  • All our Canvas Gallery Wraps come ready to hang. All you need is a screw.
  • Our smaller canvas wraps come ready with 1 or 2 sawtooth hangars included.
  • Our larger wraps we include wire mounting as standard.
  • For added security we offer a French cleat and T screw lock mounting system.

Color correction, black & white or sepia conversion are available free of charge.
